    06.08.2025: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan distributed the Medals to the winners of the three day National Championship Swimming 2025 for the Intellectually Challenged Specially Abled participants at the University Convocation Hall in Mumbai. The National Championship was organised by the Maharashtra State Branch of the Special Olympics Bharat. Addressing the gathering, the Governor stated that he will ask all state universities to allow the Divyang Sportspersons to use their sports infrastructure for practice. Minister of Divyang Welfare, Government of Maharashtra Atul Sawe, President, Special Olympics Bharat Dr. Mallika Nadda, President of Maharashtra Chapter of Special Olympics Bharat Dr. Medha Somaiya, Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Deputy Secretary S Ramamoorthy, General Secretary, Maharashtra Special Olympics Bharat, Dr. Bhagwan Talware, Divyang Sportspersons Munira Murtiza and Karan Naik, participants from 20 States, coaches, Volunteers and invitees were present.

    03.08.2025: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan released the book 'Oru Nootrandhin Thavam' by former Tamil Nadu Minister Dr Vaigai Chelvan at a programme organised by the Navi Mumbai Tamil Sangam in Navi Mumbai. The book is a compilation of the articles by Dr Vaigai Chelvan published in Dinamani and his talks on All India Radio Madurai. Dinamani editor K Vaidyanathan, Secretary of Delhi Tamil Sangam Mukunthan, Chairman of Navi Mumbai Tamil Sangam E Ehambaram, Meenakshi Venkatesh and representatives of various Tamil organisations were present.
