    13.03.2026: An all-party delegation of tribal MLAs from the State called on the newly appointed Governor of Maharashtra, Jishnu Dev Varma, at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai on and discussed pending issues concerning the Scheduled Tribes in the State. Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, administered the oath of office to Jishnu Dev Varma at Darbar Hall of Maharashtra Lok Bhavan in Mumbai.     01.03.2026:On the occasion of the birth anniversary of senior spiritual orator Dr. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari, a statewide cleanliness drive was organized. As part of this initiative, members of the Pratishthan carried out a cleanliness campaign at Maharashtra Lok Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra. The drive was inaugurated near the entrance gate of Lok Bhavan by S. Ramamurthy, IAS, Additional Secretary to the Governor. Nearly 200 Shri members participated in today’s cleanliness drive and collected 416 kilograms of plastic and thermocol waste from the seashore and other areas within the Lok Bhavan premises.

    26.02.2026: Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat presented the Lokmat Times Excellence in Health Care Awards to doctors who have rendered outstanding service in the field of healthcare at a function held at Centre Point Hotel in Nagpur. In his speech, the Governor praised the doctors who, with compassion, kindness and tolerance, save the lives of patients. He said society owes a great debt to the doctors. He appealed to doctors to undertake greater public awareness efforts to help build a healthy society. The Governor further stated that clean air, water and soil are essential for a healthy society, and emphasized the need for all sections of society to promote natural farming.
