    18.03.2026: A delegation comprising Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike, MLAs from tribal regions, and senior officials of the Tribal Development Department met Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Maharashtra Lok Bhavan Mumbai and discussed various issues related to tribal development. MLAs Harishchandra Bhoye, Rajesh Padvi, Bhimrao Keram, Kevalram Kave, Raju Todsam, and former Minister Rajendra Gavit were present at the meeting. On the occasion, Tribal Development Commissioner Leena Bansode and Commissioner of the Tribal Research and Training Institute Manjiri Manolkar made presentations before the Governor.

    17.03.2026: A 17-member delegation of senior military and civil service officers from India and friendly countries, currently undergoing training at the National Defence College, called on Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Lok Bhavan during their study tour of Maharashtra. The delegation included officers from the Indian Navy, Air Force, and Army, as well as officials from the Revenue Service. In addition, senior military officers from friendly countries such as Russia, Oman, Indonesia, Nigeria, Nepal, and Tanzania were also part of the delegation. The delegation was led by Major General Harkirat Singh (retd), Senior Faculty at the National Defence College.
