    08.10.2025 : Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi inaugurated the Navi Mumbai International Airport and phase 2B of the fully underground Mumbai Metro Line -3 infrastructure project. On his arrival, the Prime Minister was welcomed by the Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar and other dignitaries.
