    08.07.2025: The 80th Foundation Day of the People's Education Society, an educational institution established by Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, was celebrated today in presence of Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai. The Governor presented the “Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Award” to two distinguished alumni of the institution - Maharashtra’s Minister for Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil and Minister for Social Justice Sanjay Shirsat along with 20 other individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields.
