19.04.2026: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated mobile clinics and ambulance services for tribal and remote areas of Palghar district at Osarvira village, Dahanu taluka, under the joint initiative of Vanbandhu Trust and Bharat Vikas Sangam. While envisioning India as a developed nation, it is imperative to uplift the last segment of society and bring them into the mainstream. Without the holistic development of Palghar, the dream of a Viksit Bharat cannot be fulfilled, stated Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma today at Dahanu. Bharat Vikas Sangam’s Patron Sanjay Patel, Governor’s Secretary Dr. Prashant Narnaware, District Collector Dr. Indu Rani Jakhar, Superintendent of Police Yatish Deshmukh, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Manoj Ranade, Vanbandhu Trust President Ladulal Soni, Yogayatan Group Chairman Dr. Rajendra Pratap Singh, senior social worker Sushil Singhania, and citizens were present. During his first visit, the Governor interacted with local representatives and district officials, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening infrastructure in remote areas. He assured that the doors of Lok Bhavan will always remain open for the progress of tribal communities and pledged personal attention to Palghar’s development.
