18.06.2026: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma congratulated Yashwanth Naik, the youngest mountaineer to successfully unfurl the Indian Tricolour atop ‘Mount Gorichen’, one of the most challenging peaks in Arunachal Pradesh. Yashwanth called on the Governor and shared details of his mountaineering journey and experiences. He informed the Governor that, as part of his “Har Shikhar Par Tiranga” campaign, he aims to unfurl the Tricolour on the highest peak of every State in India.
