    11.02.2025: The Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Lt. Gen. Madhuri Kanitkar (retd.) called on the Governor of Maharashtra and Chancellor of universities C. P. Radhakrishnan, and presented a detailed overview of the university at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Vice Chancellor briefed the Governor about the university’s Vision Document and Roadmap 2021-25. Issues such as Vacancy Position of Sanctioned Teaching and Non Teaching posts, Student welfare schemes, university examination management system, hostel facilities for students, tribal research center, were discussed. Secretary, Medical Education and Research Dhiraj Kumar, Commissioner of Medical Education Rajiv Nivatkar, Pro VC of MUHS Dr. Milind Nikumbh, Registrar Dr. Rajendra Bangal and other officials were present.

Former Chief Justice and Co-Chairman of IOD, Justice Uday Lalit, CMD of Charles Group, Jose Charles Martin, President of the Institute of Directors, Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath, former SEBI Chairman Ajay Tyagi, Western Region President of the Institute of Directors and former Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte, and Director General Ashok Kapoor were present on the occasion.
