Ambassador of El Salvador meets Maha Governor

    The Ambassador of the Central American Republic of El Salvador Ariel Jared Andrade Galindo met the Governor of Maharashtra CH. Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Friday (3 Aug).

    The Ambassaodor told the Governor that El Salvador is keen to enhance economic cooperation and trade with India. He said, even though the population of El Salvador is 6 million, the country could prove to be a gateway for India to connect to 30 Latin and Central American countries.

    Welcoming the Ambassador to Maharashtra, the Governor said people to people contacts, student and teacher exchange, cultural exchange and exchange of business delegations will help El Salvador and India to strengthen their relations. Honorary Consul General of El Salvador in Mumbai Pallavi Kanoria was also present.
