19.03.2023: A dance ballet 'Ganga' by actor and MP Hema Malini was organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs Goverment of Maharashtra with a view to promote the cause of protection of rivers at NCPA Mumbai. Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the programme and felicitated Hema Malini and other artists on the occasion. Speaker of Legislative Assembly Rahul Narwekar, Minister of Cultural Affairs Sudhir Mungantiwar, President of Parmarth Niketan Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Chief Secretary Manukumar Shrivastava, film producers Ramesh Sippy and Subhash Ghai, actor Shatrughna Sinha and invitees from various walks of life were present.
