31.10. 2023: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories Formation Day Celebrations at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan

31.10. 2023: The Foundation Day of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh was celebrated in Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in the presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais. The Union Territory Formation Day of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh was celebrated as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of Government of India. A cultural programme depicting the rich culture and traditions of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh was presented on the occasion. Students and artists of University of Mumbai and the student- artists sent by the Department of Tourism and Culture, Ladakh presented the cultural programme. Folk dance and folk music of Ladakh, the Hafiza dance, Jobro Folk Dance, Mata Vaishno Devi song, Kawwali and other cultural programs were presented.
