15.06.206: Governor participates School Reopening Festival at the BMC School

15.06.206: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma participated in the School Reopening Festival for the new academic year at the BMC run Mumbai Public School at Byculla, Mumbai. The Governor interacted with the school children and distributed school kits and meals to the students. The Governor reviewed the school admission process and visited the Astronomy Laboratory, Pre-Primary (Balwadi) Classrooms, Smart Classrooms, Computer Laboratory, and the FLN Laboratory. Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Ashwini Bhide, Chairperson of BMC Education Committee Rajeshree Shirwadkar, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, Additional Commissioner of BMC Education Department Dr. Avinash Dhakne, State Project Director of Maharashtra Prathamik Shikshan Parishad (MPSP) Sanjay Yadav, Joint Secretary to the Governor S. Ramamoorthy, teachers, parents, staff, and school children were present.
