07.01.2025: Governor presides over the Annual Convocation of University of Mumbai

07.01.2025: Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of public universities C.P. Radhakrishnan presided over the Annual Convocation 2024 of the 168 – year old University of Mumbai at the Cawasjee Jehangir Hall at the University Campus in Mumbai. Maharashtra Ministers Chandrakant Patil and Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Secretary Department of Science and Technology Government of India Prof Abhay Karandikar, President of St Louis University USA Dr Fred Pestello, VC of University of Mumbai Prof Ravindra Kulkarni, PRO VC Ajay Bhamare, officials, graduating students and invitees were present. Degrees were conferred upon 1,64,465 candidates. While Ph.Ds degrees were awarded to 401 candidates, Gold Medals were presented to 18 candidates.
