03.12.2024: Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar accompanied by Dr Smt Sudesh Dhankhar arrived in Mumbai to preside over the Centenary Foundation day of ICAR- Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT) and to inaugurate its Centenary Pillar in Mumbai. Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Ram Nath Thakur were among those present.

Matters of promoting cooperation in the areas of agriculture and food processing, cultural exchanges, collaboration in education and research and cyber security were discussed. Ambassador of Estonia in India Marje Luup, Vice Minister Tonis Tanav, Vice Ambassador Margus Solonan and Honorary Consul in Mumbai Vikas Khanna were present. Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, Principal Secretary to CM and PS Cultural Affairs Vikas Kharge, Secretary Agriculture Jayashree Bhoj and others were present.

02.12.2024: Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan released the UNICEF 'State of the World's Children Report – 2024 : The Future of Childhood in a Changing World' in presence of two young climate champions at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. This year’s report presents a perspective on how three major factors — demographic changes, climate and environmental crises, and breakthrough technologies — are likely to impact children’s lives by 2050 and beyond. Chief of UNICEF Maharashtra Sanjay Singh, Yusuf Kabir, Swati Mahapatra and climate champions Gurpreet Kaur and Pooja Vishwakarma were present.
