Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan welcomed the Vice President and Dr Smt Sudesh Dhankhar on their arrival. Minister of Protocol Jaykumar Rawal was also present. The Vice President will be presiding over the 65th and 66th Convocation of the Indian Institute of Population Studies in Mumbai.

16.05.2025 : The 50th Anniversary of the State Foundation Day of Sikkim was celebrated at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan Mumbai in presence of Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of State Universities C.P. Radhakrishnan. The Sikkim State Foundation Day was organised as part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of Government of India. The Sikkim State Foundation was organised by Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in association with Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
The Cultural team of the University presented a programme comprising the folk songs and dance of Sikkim on the occasion. An audio visual film showcasing the beauty, history and heritage of Sikkim was also shown on the occasion. Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Vice Chancellor of Shivaji University Prof D. T. Shirke, Pro Vice Chancellor P S Patil, Registrar Dr V N Shinde, members of the Management Council of the University, students and members of the cultural team of the University were present.

14.05.2025: Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of universities C. P. Radhakrishnan presided over the 43rd annual convocation of the Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. Agriculture Minister Adv. Manikrao Kokate, Minister of Industry, Marathi Language and Guardian Minister of Ratnagiri District Uday Samant, Minister of State Yogesh Kadam were present. During the ceremony, degrees were awarded to a total of 1,580 students. 18 Gold Medals were also awarded in recognition of academic excellence. Vice Chancellor Dr Sanjay Bhave, Registrar Dr. Pradeep Haldavanekar, Deans, Heads of Department, Principals, Professors,alumni and graduating students and invitees were present.

13.05.2025: The Governor of Maharashtra C. P. Radhakrishnan were distributed the 36th 'Kamgar Bhushan Award' and 'Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar Puraskar - 2023' organided by the Maharashtra Workers Welfare Board at Hutatma Babu Genu Mumbai Girni Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor honored Shrinivas Kondiba Kalamkar, a multi-skill operator from Bajaj Auto Ltd., Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with the 'Kamgar Bhushan Award' and 51 meritorious workers in the state with the 'Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar Puraskars - 2023' on this occasion. Earlier, the Governor offered tributes to half-length statue of Hutatma Babu Genu, the portrait of the Primitive Lord Vishwakarma and Rao Bahadur Narayan Meghaji Lokhande. The Governor released a special issue of 'Shram Kalyan Yug Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar'. The Labour Minister Adv. Akash Fundkar, Minister of State for Labour Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, MLC, Manisha Kayande and MLA Manoj Jamsutkar, Principal Secretary of the Labor Department I. A. Kundan, Labor Commissioner Dr. H. P. Tummod, Labor Welfare Commissioner Raviraj Ilve, etc. were present.
