Visit Bio-Diversity Park | Regarding School visits to Nagpur Raj Bhavan Biodiversity Park Raj Bhavan Biodiversity Park is located in the heart of Nagpur city. This thematic park has been developed by the Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. The Bio-diversity Park provides an excellent opportunity for nature education and appreciation especially to school students. The Biodiversity Park along with thematic sections such as Butterfly garden, Herbal garden, Medicinal plant garden, Cactus garden etc. will provide an ideal opportunity for students to enrich their knowledge. The nature trail in the Bio-diversity Park provides an excellent opportunity to see and understand local biodiversity. Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) is one of the oldest, renowned NGOs in India. BNHS through its Tiger Cell office in Nagpur, has undertaken the responsibility of running the environment education programme for students in the Biodiversity Park. Trained staff of BNHS will conduct various nature education activities. These activities include nature trail, film show, slide shows, competitions etc. in the Biodiversity Park area of Raj Bhavan, Nagpur. Interested schools are requested to send their students to this unique Biodiversity Park. The students will get an opportunity to learn from field experience and enrich their knowledge while exploring the beauty of nature. Duly filled Registration Form (given below) should be posted or mailed to the following address. The allocation of dates for the visit of a batch will be made on ‘first come first serve’ basis.
