    11..01.2020 Maharashtra Governor inaugurates Physiotherapists’ Conference

    The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari today inaugurated the 5th Annual Conference of Society of Indian Physiotherapists in Mumbai.

    Addressing the gathering of physiotherapists, the Governor said that the role of physiotherapist in restoring good health after surgery is as important as that of any specialists like Orthopaedic Suregon or others. He asked physiotherapists to practice their craft with affection and sympathy for the patients. The Governor appealed to the physiotherapists to strive to bring prestige to the profession.

    Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Dr Dileep Mhasekar felt that institutions teaching Physiotherapy should be attached to medical colleges as that would provide better exposure to students.

    President of the Society of Indian Physiotherapists Dr Raju Parasher, Honorary Secretary Dr Nitesh Bansal and others were present. The Governor released a Souvenir on the occasion.
