Maha Governor flags off Jain Sangh Rath Yatra

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari today (22nd Sep) flagged off a largely attended Jain Sangh Rath Yatra in Mumbai. The Rath Yatra was organized to commemorate the holy Paryushan Parva. More than 200 Jain Sanghas, Sadhus, Sadhvis and thousands of citizens participated in the Yatra. Speaking on the occasion the Governor said it is not enough to become rich, handsome and physically strong. He said it is important for human beings to bear the virtue of Kshamapana (forgiveness).
