    Governor Koshyari appeals to people to pay respects to Mahatma through cleanliness.

    The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari has appealed to the people to pay respects to Mahatma Gandhi through cleanliness, tree plantation and simple acts of goodness to the poor.

    In a tribute to the Father of the Nation, the Governor has said:
    “The 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi reminds us of ideals of Satya, Ahimsa and Self Reliance preached and practiced by him.

    Gandhiji laid utmost thrust on cleanliness of the mind, body and surroundings. I appeal to the people to pay their respects to Mahatma Gandhi through cleanliness drives, tree plantation and simple acts of kindness to the poor and the needy.”
