    Maharashtra Governor inaugurates Raj Bhasha Sammelan; gives away Raj Bhasha awards to Central organisations promoting Hindi

    Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the Kshetriya Raj Bhasha Sammelan organised by the Department of Official Language of Government of India in the premises of Nuclear Power Corporation of India at Anushaktinagar Mumbai on Thu (23 Nov). The Governor gave away the Regional Raj Bhasha Awards to various Central Government offices, Banks and PSUs on the occasion.

    Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra, Secretary of the Department of Official Language Anshuli Arya, Joint Secretary of the Department of Official Language Dr. Meenakshi Jolly, CMD of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Bhuvan Chandra Pathak and officers, staff and invitees were present.

    Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Raipur, Central Pollution Control Board Bhopal, Central Excise Customs, Jabalpur, Hindustan Petroleum, Maneri, Bank of Baroda, Raipur, Marine Products Export Development Authority, Mumbai, Deepstambh and Deep Pot Mahanideshalaya, Mumbai, Commissioner of Income Tax, Nagpur , Indian Oil, Bandra, Mumbai, Bank of Baroda Baroda, Mumbai Bank, Department of Maritime Commerce, Mormugaon, Mausam Vigyan Kendra, Panaji etc. were given official language awards of central and western regions.
