26.01.2020 Governor hosts Republic Day Reception

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari hosted the traditional Republic Day Reception on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Republic at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Sunday (26th Jan). The Governor met invitees and exchanged Republic Day greetings.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Rashmi Thackeray, former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, former UP Governor Ram Naik, Ministers – Subhash Desai, Aslam Shaikh, Nawab Malik and Aaditya Thackeray, Mayor of Mumbai Kishoree Pednekar, people’s representatives, captains of Industry – Rajashree Birla, Ashok Hinduja, Niranjan Hiranandani -, diplomats from various countries, Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta, Director General of Police Subodh Jaiswal and invitees from various walks of life were present. The Reception, known as ‘At Home’ started and concluded with the rendition of National Anthem by the police band.
