23.01.2025: Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of universities C. P. Radhakrishnan presided over the 26th Annual Convocation of the Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV) at Parbhani. The Governor conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Science on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The degree was awarded in absentia. The Governor also presented the Honorary 'Doctor of Science' to Minister for Water Resources Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil. Minister of State Meghna Bordikar, Chairman of State Agricultural Prices Commission Pasha Patel, Vice Chancellor of VNMKV Dr. Indra Mani, officers of the University, Deans, Heads of Department, alumni and graduating students were present. Director of IIT Kharagpur Virendra Kumar Tewari delivered the Convocation Address on this occasion. A total of 3462 graduating students were presented with degrees, postgraduate degrees and Ph Ds on the occasion.
