16.12.2022 : Dr Yukata Niihara, CEO and Chair of Emmaus life sciences Inc. USA, met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. Stating that India has more than 20 million people suffering from sickle cell disease, he spoke of the new drug discovery that can help the patients of Sickle cell syndrome. Leading banker and fund manager from USA Anand Singh and Media Telecom personality Siddhartha Srivastava were present.

16.12.2022 : अमेरिकेतील इमॉस लाईफ सायन्सेस या संस्थेचे प्रमुख डॉ युकाता निहारा यांनी राज्यपाल भगतसिंह कोश्यारी यांची राजभवन मुंबई येथे सदिच्छा भेट घेतली. डॉ युकाता यांनी सिकल सेल आजारावर प्रदीर्घ काळ संशोधन केले आहे. भारतात, विशेषतः आदिवासी भागात सिकल सेल आजाराने २० लाख लोक बाधित असून नव्याने शोधलेल्या औषधामुळे आजाराचे प्रभावी व्यवस्थापन केले जाऊ शकते असे त्यांनी सांगितले. यावेळी अमेरिकेतील बॅकर आनंद सिंह व सिद्धार्थ श्रीवास्तव हे देखील उपस्थित होते.
