15.08.2022 : Governor visited the National War Memorial at Ghorpadi in Pune

15.08.2022 : Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari visited the National War Memorial at Ghorpadi in Pune and offered tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Senior officers and jawans of the Southern Command were present. The National War Memorial Southern Command has been erected by the Citizens of Pune. The Memorial is dedicated to the soldiers, sailors and airmen who made the supreme sacrifice defending the country since Independence.

15.08.2022 : स्वातंत्र्याच्या अमृत महोत्सवानिमित्त राज्यपाल भगतसिंह कोश्यारी यांनी घोरपडी, पुणे येथील सशस्त्र सैन्य दलाच्या दक्षिण कमांडच्या राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारकाला भेट दिली. देशरक्षणासाठी सर्वोच्च बलिदान देणाऱ्या सर्व हुतात्म्यांना राज्यपालांनी यावेळी अभिवादन केले. यावेळी सशस्त्र सैन्य दलाच्या दक्षिण कमांडचे लष्करी अधिकारी व जवान उपस्थित होते. हे राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक पुणे येथील नागरिकांच्या योगदानातून उभारले आहे.
