    Governor presides over the finale of YathaKatha International Film and Literature festival

    Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presided over the concluding function of the first 4-day YathaKatha International Festival of Film and Literature held at Maniben Nanavati Women’s College at Vile Parle in Mumbai on Sunday (28th Nov).

    Founder of YathaKatha Festival and filmmaker Charu Sharma, Trustee of Nanavati College Apoorva Nanavati, Crown Prince of the Rajpipla Manvendra Singh Gohil and National Award Winner Film Critic and Columnist Piyush Roy were present.

    Film Star Manoj Kumar and Author Ruskin Bond were honoured in absentia for their contributions to cinema and literature respectively.

    The Governor presented the Dev Bhasha Sanskrit Samman to Sanskrit Scholar Radha Vallabh Tripathi and gave the Raj Bhasha Hindi Samman to the Founder of Global Hindi Foundation Singapore Mamata Mandal. Filmmakers and writers were also felicitated on the occasion.
