CM, diplomats attend Governor’s Republic Day Reception

‘The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari hosted the traditional Republic Day reception on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Republic of India at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Thursday (26 Jan).

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Minister of Skills and Women Empowerment Mangal Prabhat Lodha, diplomats from various countries, officials from the armed forces, civil services and police and invitees from various walks of life were present on the occasion.

Ahead of the Republic Day reception, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde witnessed the exhibition of startups and innovative ideas at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.

Twenty seven innovative ideas and start ups of universities students from across the State were displayed at the exhibition. The Governor and the Chief Minister patted the students for their innovative ideas and projects. The projects were selected at the recently concluded ‘Avishar’ Inter University festival of research concluded in Pune.
