Department of School Education makes presentation on NEP

The Department of School Education and Sports made an elaborate presentation of the National Education Policy 2020 before Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wednesday.

Additional Chief Secretary Vandana Krishna gave an overview of the State Education Profile, Education Budget and Expenditure and outlay on major schemes. She also listed the provisions of National Education Policy having financial implications and those not having financial implications. She expressed the need for consolidation of nearly 5000 schools having student enrollment between zero and 10.
