    Governor Koshyari calls for translating Gandhiji’s dream of Atma Nirbhar Bharat into reality

    Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today presided over the Deepotsav celebrations organized by the Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha on the occasion of the completion of 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi through video conferencing.

    Stating that Mahatma Gandhi laid the foundation of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ during his stay at Sevagram, Governor Koshyari said translating Gandhiji’s dream of Atma Nirbhar Bharat into reality has become a duty for every Indian.

    He said, 151 years after the birth of Mahatma Gandhi and seven decades after his death, Gandhiji is becoming more relevant than ever. He said that like Mahavir, Buddha and others, Gandhiji had become an icon for the world.

    The Governor expressed the hope that the Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University would become an ‘International’ university in the true sense of the term.

    Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra released the Sanskrit translated digital version of Mahatma Gandhi’s book Mangal Prabhat on the occasion. Mishra also read out the Preamble of the Constitution and Fundamental Duties.

    Guardian Minister of Wardha Sunil Kedar, MP Ramdas Tadas, Chancellor of the University Kamlesh Datt Tripathi, Vice Chancellor Rajnish Kumar Shukla and others were present.
