On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day celebrated on 1 July, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari launched the Telemedicine Service started by the Seemant Sewa Foundation, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand through online mode from Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

Mentioning that doctors are life savers, he said doctors served as Corona Warriors and gave new lease of life to millions of people during the pandemic period. Lamenting the growing tendency to attack and assault doctors, he said society must learn to respect doctors.

Dr. Swami Gurukulananda Saraswati, Dr Ashok Pant, President, Seemant Seva Foundation, Lalit Pant, Vice President, Dr H C Pant, CMO Pithoragarh and many doctors attended the programme.
