Founder and Chancellor of the University Dr. Vishwanath Karad, former Additional Director General of Police J. D. Lakshminarayan, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, Pro-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Usha Karad, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajesh S., Executive Director Dr. Sunita Karad and students of the University were present on the occasion.

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma presided over the ‘Vidyarambh 2026’ ceremony of the MIT Art, Design and Technology University at Swami Vivekanand Mandapam Auditorium in Pune.

Governor highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary education in preparing students to meet the challenges of the 21st century. He emphasized that universities must nurture creativity, critical thinking, ethical leadership and innovation while remaining rooted in India’s civilizational values.
