    Governor gives away sewing machines, laptops, AI Smart Glasses to Divyang Persons

    Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma presided over the Summit, jointly organized by Hetu Charitable Trust and the District Legal Services Authority at Malad, Mumbai.

    The Governor distributed sewing machines to 50 divyang women, AI-powered smart glasses to 100 visually impaired persons, wheelchairs (50), and laptops to 3 beneficiaries as part of efforts to promote empowerment and self-reliance among Divyang citizens.

    Minister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Justice Shyam Chandak and Justice Makarand Karnik, judges of the Bombay High Court, Justice (retd.) K. K. Tated, Chairman, Committee to Monitor Animal Welfare Laws, Secretary of Hetu Charitable Trust Rikhab Chand Jain, industrialists and donors Praveen Kothari, Devendra Jain, Narendra Rathi, and P. G. Tapadia, were present.
