08.03.2025 : Governor, CM felicitates 10 outstanding women achievers on International Women’s Day

08.03.2025 : Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presided over the State Level programme to celebrate the one decade of the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign on the occasion of International Women's Day at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Governor and the Chief Minister felicitated 10 outstanding women achievers from the State on the occasion. The programme was organised by the Women and Child Development Department of Government of Maharashtra. Minister of Women and Child Development Aditi Tatkare, Minister of State Meghna Bordikar, Chairperson of the State Women's Commission Rupali Chakankar, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik and Secretary of the Women and Child Welfare Department Dr. Anup Kumar Yadav were present. Keya Hatkar, a young Divyang writer, Priyanka Ingle, the captain of the Indian Women's Kho-Kho team, Antara Mehta, a fighter pilot from Nagpur, Apoorva Alatkar, the first woman loco pilot of Pune Metro, Mumtaz Kazi, the first woman loco pilot to operate a diesel engine train and journalist Rupali Badve were honoured on this occasion. Suman Dhamane, a social media star chef from Ahilyanagar, Diana Edulji, former captain of the Indian women's cricket team, office bearers of Nagpur Mahila Samman Credit Cooperative Society and Sujata Sainik, the first woman Chief Secretary of the State, were also honored. The Governor and the Chief Minister unveiled the 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Rupe Card'. Commissioner of Women and Child Development Nayana Gunde administered the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' pledge to the attendees. The Governor released a book 'The first 1000 Golden Days of a Child' brought out by the Integrated Child Development Service Scheme.

08.03.2025 : आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिनाचे औचित्य साधून महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या महिला व बालविकास विभागातर्फे आज 'बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढाओ' कार्यक्रमाचा राज्यस्तरीय दशकपूर्ती समारोह तसेच राज्यातील दहा उल्लेखनीय कार्य करणाऱ्या महिलांचा सन्मान सोहळा राज्यपाल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन व मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत राजभवन मुंबई येथे संपन्न झाला. कार्यक्रमाला राज्याच्या महिला व बालविकास मंत्री आदिती तटकरे, महिला व बालविकास राज्यमंत्री मेघना बोर्डीकर, राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या अध्यक्षा रूपाली चाकणकर, मुख्य सचिव सुजाता सौनिक व महिला व बालकल्याण विभागाचे सचिव डॉ. अनुप कुमार यादव व्यासपीठावर उपस्थित होते. या कार्यक्रमात राज्यपाल सी.पी. राधाकृष्णन तसेच मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते विविध क्षेत्रात उल्लेखनीय कार्य करणाऱ्या दहा प्रतिभावंत महिलांचा सन्मान करण्यात आला. अपंगत्वावर मात करणारी युवा लेखिका केया हटकर, भारतीय महिला खो-खो संघाची कर्णधार प्रियंका इंगळे, नागपूर येथील फायटर पायलट अंतरा मेहता, पुणे मेट्रोच्या पहिल्या महिला लोको पायलट अपूर्वा अलटकर, डिझेल इंजिन रेल्वे चालवणाऱ्या पहिल्या महिला लोको पायलट मुमताज काझी व पत्रकार रूपाली बडवे यांचा यावेळी सन्मान करण्यात आला. अहिल्यानगर येथील समाज माध्यमातील नामांकित शेफ सुमन धामणे, भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट संघाच्या माजी कर्णधार डायना एडलजी, नागपूर महिला सन्मान क्रेडिट को-ऑपरेटिव्ह सोसायटीच्या पदाधिकारी तसेच राज्याच्या पहिला मुख्य सचिव असलेल्या सुजाता सौनिक यांचा सन्मान करण्यात आला. यावेळी राज्यपाल व मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते मुख्यमंत्री माझी लाडकी बहीण रूपे कार्डचे अनावरण करण्यात आले तसेच 'बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढाओ' अभियानावर आधारित माहितीपट दाखविण्यात आला. महिला व बाल विकास आयुक्त नयना गुंडे यांनी उपस्थितांना 'बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढाओ' ही शपथ दिली. त्यानंतर राज्यपालांच्या हस्ते 'बाळाचे सुवर्णमयी १००० दिवस' या एकात्मिक बाल विकास सेवा योजनेतर्फे प्रकाशित पुस्तकाचे प्रकाशन करण्यात आले.
