27.01.2025: Maharashtra Governor pays tribute to victims of Holocaust

27.01.2025: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan lighted a lamp as a tribute to the members of the Jewish community who were massacred in the second world war at a Commemoration meeting held at the Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue in Mumbai. The Commemoration meeting was organised by the Jacob Sassoon’s Trust on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day observed on 27 January. Consul General of Israel in Mumbai Kobbi Shoshani, Consul General of Germany in Mumbai Achim Fabig, Senior officer in the US Consulate Michael Schreuder, Consuls of other countries, Chairman of Jacob Sassoon’s Trust Solomon Sopher and members of the Jewish community were present.
