04.12.2024: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar called on Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. They staked their claim to form the new government. Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Chandrasekhar Bawankule, Praful Patel, Raosaheb Danve, Ashok Chavan, Sunil Tatkare, Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar and others were present.
