02.10.2024: Governor meets representatives of various political parties and delegations at Gadchiroli

02.10.2024: Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of state universities C. P. Radhakrishnan presided over the 11th and 12th Convocation of Gondwana University and presented degrees to graduating students at Gadchiroli. The Governor awarded Honorary D. Litt. to Minister of Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries Sudhir Mungantiwar. Gold Medals, Certificates and Ph.Ds were awarded to meritorious candidates. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Bokare, Pro- VC Shriram Kavale, Registrar Dr. Anil Hirekhan, Member of the Management Council, Deans of various faculties and students were present.

Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan interacted with people’s representatives, local heads of political parties, captains of industry, social workers, tribal leaders and journalists on a range of development issues at Government Guest House Gadchiroli.

In-charge Collector Ayushi Singh made an elaborate presentation on the district, its strengths and outcome of central and state government welfare schemes on the occasion. S.P. Neelotpal and officials of various departments were present.

Minister of Food and Drug Administration Dharmarao Baba Atram, MLA Dr. Deorao Holi, former MP Ashok Nete, Devaji Tofa, Padmashri Dr. Parashuram Khune, social worker Dr. Anand Bang, Director of Lloyds Metal B. Prabhakaran, founder of SPARSH Dr. Dilip Barsagde were among those who met the Governor.
