Governor praises students of University of Mumbai

My heartiest congratulations to Professors and researchers of the Department of Chemistry of University of Mumbai and the Swachh Urja Alliance for securing a gold medal for their innovative project.

They have developed a profitable method to recycle discarded lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, commonly used in mobiles, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, and electric vehicles and to manufacture high-capacity batteries.
