06.11.2022 : Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari inaugurated the 28th Acharya Chaube Maharaj Mahotsav organized by Bhavans Culture Center on the occasion of birth centenary of dance empress Sitara Devi at SPJIMR Auditorium Bhavan’s Campus, Andheri in Mumbai. President of Art Kriti Kendra Jayanti Mala Mishra, Drama Artist Rajesh Mishra, Rishika Mishra, Pt. Kalinath Mishra, Somnath Mishra, Sourav Mishra, Gaurav Mishra, Hiroko Sara Fukuda, Aparna Deodhar, Sandeep Mishra, Kunal Patil, Balkishan Mishra, Ravi Kishan Mishra, Guru Smt. Ketaki Tambe, Dilip Tambe and Dr. Vaidehi Rele Lal were felicitated by the Governor on this occasion. Dancer Rishika Mishra performed dance empress Padmashri Sitara Devi’s famous Kathak step ‘Uchhal’ and other dancers performed Kathak, Oddissi and Bharatnatyam as well.
