Raj Bhavan staff given National Integration Pledge on Indira Gandhi Anniversary

The 103rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi was observed at Raj Bhavan today as National Integration Day.

Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar offered floral tributes to the portrait of Indira Gandhi and later read out the ‘National Integration Pledge’ to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan.

Officers and staff expressed the resolve of the nation ‘to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation and to continue to endeavor towards settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievances by peaceful and constitutional means’.
