28.08.2023: Governor presents Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Awards

28.08.2023: The Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Awards for the years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 were distributed at the hands of State Governor Ramesh Bais at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune. In all 118 sportspersons, Divyang sportspersons and sports coaches were honored on the occasion. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of Cooperation Dilip Valse Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil, Minister of Rural Development Girish Mahajan, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Sanjay Bansode and senior government officers and sports lovers were present. An MoU for the promotion of football in Maharashtra was exchanged between the representatives of the German Football League ‘Bundesliga’ and Government of Maharashtra on the occasion.
