21.04.2025 : Governor celebrates ‘Himachal Pradesh State Foundation Day’ in Raj Bhavan, Mumbai

21.04.2025 : Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presided over the ‘Himachal Pradesh State Foundation Day’ celebration organised by Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. The Himachal Pradesh State Foundation Day was organised as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of Government of India. On this occasion, students from the Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University and schools under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation presented a cultural programme showcasing the folk dances and songs representing the culture of Himachal Pradesh. In recognition of the excellent cultural performance, the Governor announced a prize of one lakh rupees each to the Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Sangeet Kala Akadami. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Puducherry Pethaperumal Velayudham, Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra State Skills University Dr. Apoorva Palkar, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnavare, Deputy Secretary S. Ramamoorthy, students of the Skills University, and office bearers of the Municipal Corporation’s Sangeet Kala Akademi were present.
