16.05.2023 : Sikkim Foundation Day Celebrated at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan

16.05.2023 : The Foundation Day of Sikkim was celebrated in presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais and Smt Rambai Bais at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Sikkim Foundation Day was organised at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of the Government of India. A cultural programme comprising folk songs and dance of Sikkim was presented by artists from Sikkim on the occasion. The programme also showcased Maharashtra’s cultural forms and concluded with the presentation of the coronation ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
