14.10.2024: Governor holds review of schemes and projects of Mumbai Suburban Districts; meets representatives of various political parties

14.10.2024: Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan had separate meetings with the people’s representatives, representatives of various political parties, industries, tribal communities, minorities, Divyang sportspersons, artists and social workers from the Mumbai Suburban District at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (14 Oct). The meeting was organised to review the progress of developmental works and to understand the concerns and aspirations of various sections of society and political parties. Earlier the officers of District Administration of Mumbai Suburban district and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation made a presentation where the Governor reviewed the schemes and projects in Mumbai suburban district. Former Governor Ram Naik, former Minister Subhash Desai, MP Anil Desai, MLA Anil Parb, MLA Parag Shah, former MP Gopal Shetty, Vidya Chavan, Rubin Mascarenhas, Prakash Reddy and representatives of various political parties were present. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Administrator Bhushan Gagrani, Konkan Divisional Commissioner Rajesh Deshmukh, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation MD Ashwini Bhide, MMRDA AMC Vikram Kumar, Addl CP Paramjit Dahiya, Suburban Collector Rajendra Kshirsagar, representatives of Central Railway, Western Railways, MHADA along with officials of various departments were present.
