12.03.2024: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi digitally laid the foundation stone, performed the inauguration and dedicated to the nation various infrastructure projects of Indian Railway. The Prime Minister also flagged off the Vande Bharat Express on new routes. At a programme organised by the Western Railway at Mumbai Central Station, Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais unveiled the plaque of ‘One Station, One Product’ stalls. The stalls are being started at Mumbai Central, Churchgate, Marine Lines, Charni Road, Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi and Lower Parel. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane, Minister of Skills, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mangal Prabhat Lodha, ADG Western Railway Prakash Butani and others were present.
