07.01.2026: Governor interacts with the youth selected for the National Youth Festival through an online mode
07.01.2026: The Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat Acharya Devvrat today interacted with the young men and women selected from Maharashtra and Gujarat for the National Youth Festival – Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025–26 through online mode. Emphasising that the role of youth is extremely important and invaluable in the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, Governor Acharya Devvrat appealed to the youth to come forward with their thoughts, actions and new talents, and to contribute to the vision of a developed India while preserving the rich heritage of Indian culture, for the country’s holistic development. The programme for Maharashtra held at Sahyadri Guest House, was attended by Principal Secretary (Sports) Sanjay Khandare, Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Naranware, Joint Secretary to the Governor S. Rammoorthy, Deputy Secretary Sunil Pandhare, and the youths selected for the Festival. A representative felicitation was held after the Governor’s address. In all 79 youths from Maharashtra have been selected to participate in the National Youth Festival scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 9 to 12 January 2026. The youths are proceeding for Delhi later during the day.
