04.06.2023 : Governor Bais performs Bhumi Pujan for Ashwamedh Maha Yagya in Mumbai

04.06.2023 : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais attended the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the hosting of the 48th Ashwamedh Mahayagya at Central ground, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The Maha Yagya is being organised by the Gayatri Parivar, Shanti Kunj Haridwar from 23 to 28 January 2024. Minister of Culture Sudhir Mungantiwar, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwa Vidyalaya Chinmay Pandya, Director of the Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar Manubhai Patel, business leader Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, Radhika Merchant and others were present.
