    Vice President has a good morning at Raj Bhavan

    Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu, currently on a 3 – days official visit to Mumbai, had a morning walk with Maharashtra Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao at Mumbai’s sea-facing Raj Bhavan this morning.

    The Vice President started his walk with a visit to the underground British-era bunker. Thereafter he viewed the sunrise from the newly created sea-facing deck, named as ‘Sunrise Gallery’. The Governor then showed the Vice President the recently unearthed twin 22-tonne cannons. The Vice President further visited the 150-ft high flag staff and stood at the plaque that commemorates the place of the official ceremony of the formation of the State of Maharashtra in the year 1960. Before concluding their walk, the Vice President and the Governor interacted with the morning visitors to Raj Bhavan.
