    Raj Bhavan staff members release Coffee Table Book by Governor

    In a departure from tradition of releasing books at the hands of dignitaries, Maharashtra Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao got his new Coffee Table Book released at the hands of class IV employees of Raj Bhavan.

    The book brought out by the Governor’s Secretariat was formally released in presence of the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday (5th Nov).

    Head Mali Chandrakant Kandale, Jamadar Vilas More, Mukadam Laxmi Hadal, Head Roomboy Iftekhar Basarat Ali, senior Butler Sanjay Parhyad, Head Butler Kailas Shelar, Cook Murugan and peon Nilima Shinde did the honour of releasing the book.

    The book ‘Journeying Towards Newer Milestones’ highlights the various initiativges taken by the Governor in areas of higher education, tribal welfare, regional development, etc during the last two years. The book includes a chapter on the Governor’s one year stint as Governor in Tamil Nadu.

    The book also chronicles the Governor’s initiative of opening the Raj Bhavan for the people and includes the green initiatives at Raj Bhavan and the story on creation of a museum inside the underground bunker at Raj Bhavan.

    Wife of the Governor CH. Vinodha, Governor’s Secretary Venugopal Reddy and staff and officers were present.
