14.08.2023: Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the 14th Convocation of the Dr DY Patil University in Pune. Chairman of the Kinetic group Arun Firodia, founder of Praj Industries Dr Pramod Chaudhari and Chief Advisor of Ramaiya Group of Institutions Bangalore Dr P.N. Razdan were presented the honorary degree of Doctor of Science by the Governor. Degrees were presented to 4095 students while Gold Medals were awarded to 33 graduates topping various examinations. Chancellor of the University Dr P.D. Patil, Pro Chancellor Smt Bhagyashri Patil, Vice Chancellor Dr NJ Pawar and members of the Managing Committee of the university, Faculty, parents, staff and graduating students were present.

11.08.2023: Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over a Brainstorming Session on 'Methane Emissions from Landfill and Waste in Mumbai held at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Deonar, Mumbai. The Brainstorming Session was organised by TISS in association with ICCSR Foundation.
Prof. Shalini Bharat, Director and Chancellor of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Dr. Anil Agnihotri, Retired GM, ONGC, Dr. J. S. Sharma, Director, ICCSA Foundation, Prof. Bino Paul, Pro Vice Chancellor TISS, Dr. Rakesh Kumar OSD, CSIR, Prof. Kamal Kumar Murari, teachers, researchers and students were present.

09.08.2023: Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais gave the 'Panch Pran' Pledge to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan Mumbai as part of the nation wide “Meri Mati Mera Desh” Campaign. The Governor gave the Panch Pran Pledge wherein all those present resolved to make India a developed nation by 2047, eliminate the mentality of slavery, take pride of India's rich heritage, uphold unity and solidarity, fulfil duties as citizens, and respect those who protect the nation. The Campaign is the concluding event of the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,' which began on 12th March , 2021.
