08.12.2023 : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais today inaugurated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Mahashibir and flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for Bhandara district at Defense Academy Bhandara. The mega camp was organised to inform people about the various schemes of the Central and State Governments. Bhandara District Guardian Minister Dr. Vijay Kumar Gavit, MP Sunil Mendhe, MLA Narendra Bhondekar, former Minister Parinay Phuke, Collector Yogesh Kumbhejkar, Inspector General of Police Chhering Dorje and a large number of citizens were present. On this occasion, the Governor presented the representative cheques and certificates of various schemes to the targetted beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 'Umed' Jeevanonnati Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Samman Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and others.

05.12.2023 : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais today launched various initiatives and incentive schemes of the School Education Department at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. Schemes such as 'Chief Minister My School, A Beautiful School', 'Goshtincha Shanivar', 'Enjoyable Reading', 'Cleanliness Monitor' etc. were launched on the occasion. Initiatives like Adopt Schools, Mahavachan Utsav, 'My School My Yard', were also launched. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Minister of Rural Development Girish Mahajan, Minister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Principal Secretary School Education Ranjit Singh Deol, Commissioner Suraj Mandhre and others were present. These school initiatives were started to upgrade the infrastructure facilities in the schools of the state, to create a competitive environment for education in the schools, to increase the participation of the students in the decision-making process, to encourage the schools to carry out activities on the topics of health, skill development, and financial literacy, etc.

02.12.2023 : President of India Droupadi Murmu presided over the 111th Convocation Ceremony of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium Nagpur. Dr. R.H. Tupkari was awarded the degree of 'Doctor of Science' while Rajshree Ramteke was awarded the Dr T V Gedam Gold Medal at the hands of the President of India. In all 79447 graduates were awarded degrees during the convocation ceremony. Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of universities Ramesh Bais, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Subhash Chaudhary and others were mainly present.
