21.01.2024: Governor flags off Mumbai Marathon

20.01.2024 : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the prize distribution ceremony of the Aditya Birla Memorial Polo Cup organized by Aditya Birla Group at Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai. The Governor presented the Aditya Birla Memorial Polo Cup to the winning team, 'Dynamix Achievers'. Director of the Aditya Birla Group Rajashree Birla, Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Business Review Council AK Agarwala, President of Amateur Riders Club Chairman Shyam Mehta, Vice President Nasir Jamal, former President Suresh Tapuria were among those present on the occasion. The final match of the Aditya Birla Memorial Polo Cup was played out between the finalist polo teams 'Dynamix Achievers' and 'Mumbai Polo'. The match was inaugurated by the Governor by throwing the ball into the playing area. The Governor also felicitated players from both teams and the umpires.

19.01.2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of 8 AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects in Solapur and dedicated more than 90,000 houses completed under PMAY - Urban in Maharashtra. He also dedicated 15,000 houses of Ray Nagar Housing Society in Solapur, whose beneficiaries included handloom workers, vendors, powerloom workers, rag pickers etc. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Dy. Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis, Dy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Guardian Minister of Solapur Chandrakant Patil and others were present.
