16.08.2024: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presided over the 26th Annual Convocation of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (BATU) at Lonere, Dist Raigad. Degrees were awarded to 22503 graduating students, while Ph D was awarded to 20 candidates. Minister of Industries and Guardian Minister of Raigad Uday Samant, Minister of Women and Child Development Aaditi Tatkare, former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission Dr Anil Kakodkar, Vice Chancellor of BATU Dr Karbhari Kale, Registrar Dr Arvind Kiwalekar, Controller of Examination Dr Narendra Jadhav, Deans of various streams, faculty, Principals and graduating students were present.

Radhakrishnan presided over the valedictory session of the Social Leadership Development programm-2024 organised by MIT World Peace University at its Campus at Kothrud, Pune. The Governor handed over the 'Social Leadership Baton' to the Youth Leaders of SLDP-2025. The Social Leadership Development Program (SLDP) 2024 was held at MIT World Peace University to instill social leadership values in first-year students. Founder President of MIT-WPU Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Executive President MIT, WPU Rahul Karad, Iron Man Maj Gen. Vikram Dev Dogra, (Retd), Vice Chancellor of MIT WPU Dr. R.M. Chitnis, Direcotors, Deans, Faculty of Board and students were present.
